  • We'll be communicating with you along the way so you'll always know what's happening as we get ready to serve you as TIAA Bank.

Our bank's legal name is TIAA, FSB. FSB is an acronym for Federal Savings Bank. This summer, we will make the transition from TIAA Direct to our new brand name, TIAA Bank. As part of this change, we will introduce you to an enhanced new web experience, and you will begin to see our name in other various client communications, including mail, email and online.

Not at this time. Right now you can continue to use your same checks and debit card. We will update debit cards with the new TIAA Bank name and logo later in 2018. Continue to use your current supply of checks. When you reorder checks after our name has changed, you will receive new updated checks with the TIAA Bank name.

There may be some updates to your accounts this summer. If any of these impact you, we'll let you know well in advance. You'll continue to receive the same great service you've come to expect from us.
